Some time ago I needed to transfer a database from Access to SQL server express.
I followed Microsoft s instructions but their programmes always failed with general exceptions.
I searched the net, and all I could find were crippled programmes that transfered only 3 tables or only 50 rows and then asked you to pay in order to do the complete job.
I was frustrated, so I made my own programme (in .NET), transfered the database and now I give it to everyone. Mind you, it worked for me, I do not guarantee that it will work for you. Also have in mind that it renames the indexes cause some of them are reserved words in SQL-Server. I hope it will help you.
